Jacqiella is a Princess nothing more and nothing less

She lives inside a castle the size is anybody's guess

And each morning when she awakes someone always helps her dress

Now we find our pretty Princess sleeping soundly on her bed

She has a fuzzy fury friend waiting by her sleepy head

A tiny mouse wearing a blouse with polka dots green and red

“Oh good morning pretty Princess,” Misty Mouse began to say

“I think its time to rise and shine on this warm and sunny day.”

Then with a kiss Miss Misty Mouse quietly tip-toed away

The Princess slowly stretched her arms and then she began to yawn

Next she reached out for her friend discovering Misty was gone

A happy look was on her face in the early morning dawn

“A merry morning Misty, where did you go where could you be?”

The Princess said sitting in bed with one hand upon her knee

She looked around without a sound not a single soul to see

“I wonder where my friend could be.” Jacqiella said out-loud

She pushed the pillows off her bed each as fluffy as a cloud

Then the Princess heard a sound somewhere as Christy Cat meowed

Wearing bunny pajamas and bunny slippers on her feet

The Princess hopped out of her bed getting caught in the bed sheet

Her eyes were wide full of surprise but she didn’t miss a beat

The Princess sunk with a ker-plunk and below her bed she saw

Misty Mouse was playing house and Christy Cat had a fur ball

They all began to giggle when Christy Cat said, “Did you fall?”

The Princess tickled both of them, when she stopped they asked for more

The Princess gave them each a kiss then they headed out the door

When Christy Cat received a pat you could hear her motor roar

Beaming by the breakfast banquet Jacqiella found her chair

A chair with flair none could compare for a Princess true and fair

Her seat was neat and came complete with a rainbow here to there

It held twelve shiny rubies truly a chair fit for a queen

So Jacqiella sat right down in the best chair ever seen

Next to her was Misty Mouse and Christy Cat sat in between

Jacqiella knows that breakfast always makes her tummy glad

A peanut butter sandwich with butter pickles isn’t bad

The Princess held her head up high giving thanks for all she had

Then with a shout two squirrels ran out each was singing a loud song

You couldn’t tell that they were twins one was short the other long

The Princess sang along and said,” Oh good morning Ping and Pong.”

“Good morning pretty Princess” the merry twins each said with glee

There was Jacqiella, Ping and Pong, Misty Mouse and Christy

Next the Princess rang a bell and it was time for breakfast tea

Misty Mouse loves chewing cheese and Christy Cat seemed very pleased

Because they all said, “God Bless You!” the very moment that she sneezed

They toasted with their orange juice knowing it was freshly squeezed

They all enjoyed their breakfast the company was very grand

The Princess thanked each of her guests then she moved her chair to stand

The royal highness raised her hands that began the royal band

Jacqiella placed a flower in her hair and said to Pong

“My music makes me merry now would you mind and dance along”

They pranced about with pinkies out as the clock began to bong

When the band was done the Princess sung, “We will play hide and seek.’

“Hip-Hip Hurray!” Misty did say, “And I promise not to peek”

“But I will win!” The cat chimed in, Christy had a winning streak

“Can we play in the garden with all the flowers and the trees?”

Ping said to Jacqiella and added, “Princess pretty please.”

Misty clapped and touched her lap and played patty pies on her knees

They marched out to the garden the Princess leading all the way

Jacqiella closed her eyes to count and said, “It’s time to play!”

The others looked for hiding spots on this sunny Saturday

Misty found her hiding spot under a Weeping Willow tree

Ping jumped in a flower pot and as she did she scraped her knee

Christy couldn’t find a place so Pong whispered, “Come hide with me”

Christy and Pong did not take long running down the garden path

They quickly jumped into a bush there they both began to laugh

When Pong and Christy both noticed something blue by the bird bath

To their surprise they both realized they had found a magic bean

Ping hollered for the Princess “We found something special my queen”

Jacqiella ran up to the biggest bean she’d ever seen

“Wow look at this?” The Princess said, rubbing the shiny blue shell

Misty and Ping came walking up then they all heard someone yell

“Someone’s inside!” Christy cried who almost had a fainting spell

“Please get a glass of water” the Princess said to Ping and Pong

Back in a flash they came at last it did not take them to long

“Take a drink, try not to think.” The Princess said “You must be strong”

Christy took a sip of water then they heard the voice inside

“Please let me out, there’s just one way, oh please hurry” the voice cried

"Please find a rose of beauty and place it on my shell outside"

Each looked around but no one found what they were asked to find

Then Jacqiella closed her eyes when something crossed her mind

She had a flower at breakfast but did not know what kind

Pulling a flower from her hair, the Princess said “A red rose”

The voice said “Place it on the shell, clap your hands and touch your nose.”

The Princess and her friends did this, showers of flowers arose

And so was born a Unicorn shining as bright as the sun

“Thank-you my friends, love has no end, now you see what you have done"

The Unicorn bowed to them all and said “This story has begun”

“So for the kindness you have shown I will grant three wishes too”

“Use them anytime you like but only when your heart is true”

Then with a blink and a wink into the air the creature flew
