Once upon a time

A wolf was playing in the park

On her pretty fur

she had a special beauty mark

 

 

 

On the day when she was born

A Fairy said to her

"You will save a Unicorn"

Then touched her silky fur

 

 

 

The Fairy weaved a magic spell

As stars from heaven fell

While she enchanted one and all

The wolves began to call

 

 

 

Fairy gave her a special name

Mixed with fortune full of fame

As universal as a tune

Calling the wolf "Gemsune"

 

 

 

The magic Fairy waved her wand

Making a special bond

Sparkles glittered everywhere

Gemsune was pure and fair

 

 

 

Born to her this destiny

Upon this wolf you see

The birthmark of a Unicorn

So beautiful and free

 

 

 

Gemsune was running in a race

Across an open space

All her friends were having fun

Running in one place

 

 

  

Gemsune was first leading the pack

Her friends close behind

She turned her head looking back

When her brown eyes did find

 

 

 

An object glittered in the sun

Hidden in the green

Gemsune heard stories of one

But one no one had seen

 

 

 

Gemsune learned to trust her heart

She stopped right away

Her friends thought she was smart

They tackled her in play

 

 

  

Gemsune saw them coming

So she stepped aside

They all passed her running

"Look at this!" she cried

 

 

 

Her friends stood around her

They were all amazed

Gemsume picked the gem up

As everybody gazed

 

 

  

"This belongs to a Unicorn"

Gemsune said holding the stone

"Given to them when they are born

Without this they're alone"

 

 

 

"Unicorns make dreams come true

Wishes for me and you

And anyone who has the rock

Has this power too

 

 

 

"Let's make a wish!" Her friends said

Shouting out with glee

Gemsune said "No"

And closed her eyes

As sad as she could be

 

 

 

"That would hurt the Unicorn"

Gemsune would explain

"A stolen wish would be their end"

Then it began to rain

 

 

 

Putting the gem in her pocket

Gemsune took off like a rocket

She rested near the golden horn

Of the magical Unicorn

 

 

 

Taking the gem she had found

Quietly and without a sound

She placed it by the sleeping beauty

Gently on the ground

 

 

 

Gemsune touched the mystic creature

Whose eyes were very blue

The Unicorn smiled and said

"Your heart is pure and true"

 

 

 

"Only a Princess pure and true

Could find a stone like this

The Fairies knew when you were born

This lady would be you"

 

 

 

"Gemsune you had a choice to make

Never is it easy

You chose to give and not to take

Forever saving me"

 

 

 

Gemsune hugged the Unicorn

Who said "Let's take a ride

On top a Unicorn reborn"

"What fun!" the princess cried

 

 

 

The two traveled across the seas

Over mountains above trees

They flew straight and around bends

Back to Gemsune's friends

 

 

 

"She's back!"" She's back!" Her friends cheered

As the Unicorn appeared

They landed in the spot

Where Gemsune disappeared

 

 

 

The Unicorn thanked the whole group

Then soared into the air

Gemsune smiled as she saw

Rainbows everywhere
